Image of the fibretemp^® kit using a thermal imaging camera during the test operationThe function of the assembled heating panels of the fibretemp^® heating kit are tested and checked step-wise in the assembly process and before despatch.

After the completion of the layer construction, a test step is carried out under a vacuum build-up. The temperature attainable through the electrical input parameters determined in the design is tested.  The homogeneity of the temperature distribution is thermographically determined and assessed.

The following is done in the assembling process

• Function test under vacuum with unfixed fibre set
• Function test under vacuum after fixing the fibre set by sewing
• Vacuumless function test as outgoing goods inspection
